Defender 90 is heading back down under

E-mail Print PDF

After a sort absence from the Australian dealers' showrooms the Defender 90 is heading back down under.

Costing around AU$45,000 (£25,000) the new Puma engined defender will be just AU$4,000 less than a similar spec 110.

However with just 4 years until the new 'Icon' Defender is released Aussie buyers won't have long to get one.

Land Rover sell just 25,000 Defenders worldwide.

The Defender 90 was removed from the Australian fleet in 2006 following a steady decline in sales. Not really surprising when a a 90 cost MORE than a 110. But 2010 will see it back on the list.
